We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Asheville’s Wrong Way River Lodge for 10 days in April 2023. The owners, Joe and Shelton, have creating something truly amazing, in a fantastic location. It’s built into the hill directly across from the river and the French Broad River Greenway for cycling, running and walking. The property features 16 tiny A-frame cabins with all the creature comforts, including a private bathroom, HVAC, and high-speed WiFi. The communal River Lodge, with its Canteen, lounge, and event space, anchors the property as a place to eat, drink, gather, and shop.
